Aki Temisevä is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada). He brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience across the nonprofit and private sectors, having served as a CEO and C-level executive with global corporations and international humanitarian organizations. His career includes leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies such as Procter & Gamble, as well as with World Vision, Right To Play, and Children Believe.
With a professional journey spanning four continents, Mr. Temisevä has led transformative initiatives in peacebuilding, sustainable development, and youth empowerment. He is recognized for his ability to design and implement strategies that not only achieve measurable results but also strengthen trust, collaboration, and impact across borders. A results-driven and people-focused leader, he is dedicated to crafting innovative solutions that build bridges and improve lives worldwide.
Born in Finland and raised in Zambia, Mr. Temisevä embodies the values of a true global citizen.
