Event Planning and Coordination

How You Can Help:

  • Event planning and execution

  • Direct and work with event facilities and various event service contractors

  • Budget coordination, tracking, and reporting to a variety of people

  • Support regional liaisons and events across the country

  • Contribute to the engagement and management of volunteer teams

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels of government and industry to facilitate effective cross-functional communication and support effective planning and collaboration

  • Assist in the planning and execution of Elevate's event portfolio when required

Qualifications:

  • College or Undergraduate degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in project and/or event management experience

  • Proficient in the planning and production of virtual events (webinars, seminars, conferences, etc) on a variety of platform solutions

Fundraising Enthusiast

How You Can Help:

  • Contribute ideas to the development of Elevate's fundraising and marketing strategy

  • Establish contacts for corporate sponsorship

  • Help organize engaging fundraising events and initiatives

  • Collaborate on donor campaigns and communications

  • Take part in stewardship (donor recognition)

Qualifications:

  • Strong initiative

  • Good research skills

  • MS Office experience

  • Strong written and oral communications skills are required

How You Can Help:

  • Marketing support to the partnerships coordinator, social media postings, and creation of general marketing materials.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing and social media

  • Strong familiarity with the applications of social media platforms

  • Knowledge of graphic and social software such as Canva or Photoshop

  • Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Education in marketing, communication, or related field is an asset
